Peter, firstly I hope you don't mind me copying the below image of Angela Merkel from your Wikispooks site? Let me know if you do and I'll remove it and link it instead. But it is instructive to our members and readers, I think.

In his article "Dealing with the Devil", Michael Colhaze suggests that Merkel is subservient to - and does the bidding of - the Neocons because she once was a Stasi snitch who betrayed dissidents to the Stasi, and were this to be made public she would be instantly ruined. And she would be, I am sure.
I'm sure this is a very sensitive subject. Even so, I wonder if there is any substance to these rumours?
On the other hand perhaps it is best not to know?
PS, were it true it would explain why Merkel went along with the US Neocons on Russian sanctions when it was sheer economic madness for Germany and Europe to do so - a fact that has caused me some reflective pondering these past few months...

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
