There are a lot of bad books on the case on the conspiracy side also.
Like Ultimate Sacrifice, and LBJ: Mastermind of the JFK Assassination to name just two. And we have criticized them at CTKA.
So we don't play favorites. A bad pro-conspiracy book to me can be as bad as a Warren Commission apologia.
Why I did this one is because Jean Davison is so loud and arrogant at JFK Facts. Plus, McAdams and Von Pein think she is a serious person and her book deserves respect.
Well, baloney. Her book is a joke from chapter one all the way to the end. As i showed, its a cover up book all the way. She could not have missed some of the things she did not include. Plus, she never left her house to do any research. So there is nothing new in her text.
Its a 95 % rehash of Epstein, PJM and the WC. ANd the stuff she throws in to give it a twist for Castro is so weak its transparent camouflage.
But I will say this: besides McAdams and Von Pein, there is one other person who liked it. Drumroll please:
David Phillips.
When he was trying to convince Bugliosi to write a book on the JFK case, he recommended two books, Marina and Lee and Oswald's Game.
What does it say when one of the chief suspects in the case likes your book? Also the guy who was running the CIA's anti FPCC program, and therefore was influential in controlling Oswald in the last few months of his life.
In her book, she vouches for Phillips' story about Oswald meeting Kostikov and a missing tape in which Oswald tried to make a deal by exchanging information for a trip to Russia. She actually says this sounded like Oswald. (p. 209)
Oh really Jean? When the voice on the tapes was someone else?
Who can takes this woman or her book seriously? Well, David Phillips of course.
