Thanks for posting this Peter. I have only watched part of it and will come back to it during breaks over the weekend. We who knew and loved JJ knew him as a dedicated JFK assassination researcher and the heart and soul of COPA but the first few speakers here choose to focus on his all important work with the peace movement.
An ardent anti war activist all of his life. John Judge touched the lives of so many.
Although I have studied the assassination of JFK since day one, I did not venture to Dallas until 1997. My first COPA conference and the first time I met John. Of course his reputation had preceded him. His booming voice, ready smile and incredible intellect were etched into my memory as we chatted at the sign up line for that memorable conference. Year after year he organized several conferences around the murders of our heroes from the 60s. In spite of the efforts to shut down Dealey Plaza on the 50th anniversary John was out there for the moment of silence, in the freezing rain that was fitting for the occasion, and the COPA conference was a wild success. Who could guess it would be his last?
Yes JJ lived an extraordinary life. And will live on through his work, his passion for truth, his dedication to all things peace, and his 1000 percent commitment to the cause of exposing deep political events. Be it the assassination of JFK or the murders at Jonestown, JJ was on it. RIP my friend. Knowing you has been an honor.
