Hmmm . .. That's opened up a 7 year old can of worms for me. Browse this Google search and a few of the links with familiar names on it (John Scarlett, Stella Rimmington, Vlad Putin and a good few more) and you'll see what I mean. I spent many hours trawling through this stuff back then - even archived it all locally in case it disappeared. I posted something on it here a few years later as I recall.
It's bizarre, bizarre, bizarre - but with just a smidgeon of something (including links to verifiable but startling and little-known facts), that kept me engrossed for quite a while. I still wonder about it.
