As human beings, we hope to learn from our experiences.

Governments of all countries have lied - again and again.

If a person or an organisation lies to you, repeatedly, do you trust them?

No we don't trust them. And with nuclear apocalypse there is no opportunity to get it right next time.
The thanatos loving paranoid overcompensating psychopaths that created this nightmare should not be permitted anywhere that is not sealed securely and heavily padded. meanwhile the rest of us can work at dismantling borders physical and mental so there is just one people on one planet where we all share the resources according to need.

Ah, for this we fight!...but we must also dream...as the 'nightmare reality' is very strong now.....and quickly growing worse and much more dangerous, IMO.

Indeed it is. Lindsay Graham now wants to begin a "pre-emptive" war against Iran.
In that it was only three days after JFK began as President I tend to believe he had no clue about this near- fatal event.
