B. can you shed some light on what Dixie uncovered. I too really miss her and Jack!! Mary had many spook connections through her work and that of her husband. Mary Ferrell came from the same spook law firm as G.W. Bush's White House Counsel and Supreme Court nominee, Harriett Miers: Locke, Liddell & Sapp. Ferrell worked there starting in 1957 before becoming executive secretary to Texas Governor Dolf Briscoe.
I don't have at hand the connections of her husband. The person who detailed them for me has his stuff in storage at the moment.

I was also told that Mary was a practicing witch. Anyone who visited her home was also photographed. I had a rather odd experience with her in the summer of 1990. I had just moved to Austin from MA. and my car was in the shop for repairs due to being hit while parked. The Roscoe White story broke BIG. Being very new to Austin I did not yet have any JFK assassination connections here so I called Mary. She wanted me to travel to Dallas and "cover " the White story for her. I joked that surely she had enough job tenure that she could get some time off to investigate for herself. She insited that she could not. To sweeten the deal she promised to also instal word perfect on my new computer and teach me to use it. I found all of this to be most suspect. At the time it made no sense, why was she trying to lure me to Dallas? Up until that time I had had only friendly and helpful relations with her. But this one just did not pass the smell test.
