I found the thesis of the authors somewhat bewildering at first, because they both claim to be experts on alchemy, and the study of this art is all about the inner journey. It is not meant to be taken literally (except by puffers I suppose) or to manifest outside as fact. Jung has made this very clear in his own study of psychology and alchemy. The one exception to this is that failure to individually and collectively address the shadow complex will see the Collective Shadow manifest as fate.

Faust should have used Jung's theory.

Instead a deal with the Devil.

Time seen through the Hourglass.

His fate sealed.
