He even did the same with winter heating oil in some poorer areas of the USA! CITCO, the Venezuelan-owned petrol/gas retailer in the USA is very often the cheapest. He gave large amounts of oil FREE to some S.A. countries and at very very reduced rates to others. The ghoulish glee the US media and politicians express at his demise [likely caused by CIA foul play] will only be equaled when Fidel dies. Blame the victim it is called. Hugo was a hero!
