I don't think the petition will sway the Mayor - and if it did 'others' more powerful would thwart any positive actions he might try to effect. However, I feel it was hollow to not try and see just how many ways we can sting the Beast and prove we tried to play by the rules - for the moment when we play by our own. OCCUPY!
