The woman, Elizabeth Fowler, worked for Senator Max Baucus' Finance Committee and repesented medical insurance companies. That committee refused to allow doctors and nurses testify on behalf of a single-payer option. Maybe the Obamacare Act just might be modified when this lobbying fraud is brought to people's attention and the more expensive premiums start being billed of people, along with knowledge of uncovered medical patients.

Senator Baucus was a Democrat from Montana.

The articles you've posted, Adele, do a good job of the basic deception and faults of AbysmalObamaCare, but just as most Americans have NO idea that the French all get [because they voted to have] five weeks PAID vacation every year and the Norwegians eight; most Americans don't realize that in almost any other developed county there are no deductibles or co-payments. The single payer National insurer simply pays all - ALL!...and covers everyone. Best I can figure, only a few - very few - percent of middle class Americans might see a slight help with Obamacare....but not real help and not what we pay our taxes for....which go mostly to killing people and subsidizing companies that make people sick or poor or both - rather than making them healthy both before they get ill and taking care of them completely after. Wealthiest nation on Earth....only if you fix the figures....one of the poorest run and unfair Nations on Earth - doing the least per capita for its Citizens and going all around the World for many decades/centuries making misery and death for others. Now the misery comes home.....in a big way.
