A purebred dog is no more or less allergenic than a 'mutt' or rescue dog........
Furthermore a huge percentage of shelter dogs are pure bred.
Jack, I understand that it was a gift from Ted Kennedy and that is significant. In that case he could have got a second dog from a shelter. He acknowledged early on that he understood the importance of getting a rescue (see Bruce's quote) then he just dropped it. Guess he's got his priorities and I'm kinda wondering if teaching his children about compassion is one of them.
