Okay, so I know that was an awfully overstated headline. But, wait still...and give me a chance. A few months ago my wife and I were watching a show on the Discovery Channel (I think).
Some "knowledgeable" folks with degrees in jungle animals had teamed up with some high caliber computer animators and were trying to hypothesize about who would win in a fight: A male
lion or an alligator (of unspecified gender).
The 3-D computer generated fight sequences were quite impressive. In the end the alligator was victorious as the lion lay dead.
I looked at my wife and said: "Poppy-cock! What a bunch of cyber-loons." She asked me what I meant. I replied: "Why do you think they call the lion The King of the Jungle?"
Tonight, my dear friend, Robert Morningstar sent me this clip, which proves the point--although no proof was necessary.
