The following is a True account....
In November 2003 I attended Dr. Wecht's JFK assassination symposium in Pittsburgh.
Right after someone had given a presentation, I put on my USS John F. Kennedy Navy officer ballcap and moved towards the stage to join and listen with a small crowd of 10 or so persons who had gathered around the prior-presenter after he left the stage because I also had several follow-up questions that I wanted to ask.
After listening to the prior-presenter for two or three minutes, someone lightly, whimpily, almost-imperceptively tapped me on the back of my bicep.
I turned almost completely around, and there was a much shorter, be-speckled man standing there who introduced himself as Ken Rahn.
We shook hands, then he grandiosely-announced that he had a question, and then he asked about my Z-film discovery with respect to very close DP witness Rosemary Willis ultrafast head snap directly towards the grassy knoll.
I answered his one question, then, there was this semi-awkward silence between us that lasted for several seconds, as I thought he, might, ask some follow-up questions.
Earlier that day, as I entered the vestibule for the hall where all of the presentations were given, I had picked-up a free xeroxed-handout (probably provided by Stu Wexler? = who is one of Rahn's many then-and-now, ever-persistent nemesis) of a newspaper article that had appeared the previous day that detailed how the FBI no longer considered neutron activation analysis ("NAA") to be a valid science that could be used in court.
Knowing Rahn was a warrenatti-apologist LooN, and, with my also knowing from his ever-transparent, extremely-anti-social, almost-always-alienating, deliberately-disgusting-way-overly-arrogant, angry public JFK-postings his interest in chemical bullet lead analysis and NAA, after that awkward silence between us, I then, simply, asked him if he had read yesterday's newspaper article about the FBI invalidating the scientific use of NAA in court? (I must honestly admit, I asked him with a very friendly, very confident, "can't-wait-to-hear-and-see-his-responses" smile on my face)
His seemingly-stunned, suddenly raised-higher-while-listening eyebrows were followed quickly by his very perplexed-looking, very furrowed-and-knitted brow looks, were followed by another awkward silence, and so I casually returned my attention to the prior-presenter for several more seconds.
When I turned my head back towards Rahn after several more seconds, he had vanished....
.... I looked around just in time to see his back, now 40-feet away, quickly scurrying, hunched-over, moving up the center walking aisle away from me as, you so aptly put it, he "slinked away." (probably to obtain a newspaper, and over-anxiously read the article about "his" now-de-valued NAA)
.... Have not seen that edu-tard-elitist, degrees-obsessed, angrily-arrogant, transparent "mo-rahn" LooN post anything public on the NG's in many years....
