Bernice Moore Wrote:Thankyou for your fine comments, she would be so pleased, now an old funny...

A funny memory to share, when Rich called us Rich's girls, of course with time, some members wanted a photo. well there never has been one, but one day in his amblings around the web, Rich found one that filled the bill, henceforth this was the photo of Rich's Girls, of course we all wanted to be the one with the bike, Dixie has it today... ps and the gif that went the title of course...........Dixie is now with the Lord, her trials and sufferings over, we shall miss her tremendously, she was a very good woman, with a kind heart, and now she has met up with, guess who ?? Rich of course, that's the who....and now she knows, he has filled her on all what happened, they have got it solved...

An e-mail from Shelby in answer to mine:

Terry, thanks for forwarding this. I am heartbroken. Rich and I both loved Dixie so very much. She died the day after his birthday.

I miss everyone so very much.

Love you.

Shelby

Please send me the link, Bean?

Remember
the picture from The Soprano's that either you, or Rich put up, and I pointed out and named Rich's Girls, and said, "There's Dixie, Shelby, Me, and Bernice sitting in the middle with her boobs hanging out."

What a hoot we were! Those were the halcyon days when we really had a home base with Rich. We ruled! What a happy time! We were so strong, and young at heart, weren't we?

Speaking of hearts, mine is really aching, Bean. I can't believe how many losses we've had to endure in just the last five years. I know it's "life," and that it takes three years for the initial shock and grief to subside, but that doesn't make it feel any better.

Now I can say that I truly understand why older people get depressed and end up apathetic after awhile. Because, I'm turning into one myself, and can see the sign posts up ahead.

With love, and a staggering feeling of loss,
TLB

TLB is Bean's nickname for me that I adopted years ago. It stands for "The Little Beggar." :o)
