Another possibility:
The likelihood of election fraud sufficient to steal the presidency for Hanoi Harry and the Ass that Roared grows with each passing day.
As I noted elsewhere on DPF, earlier this week James Carville stated, during post-debate coverage on CNN, that -- and I closely paraphrase -- "If Obama is five points ahead on election day and he loses, were going to ... well, let's leave it at that."
I interpret the deployment of U.S. combat troops to the U.S. mainland as a message sent to Democrats who, behind closed doors, have warned the fixers against a third consecutive theft.
Think of the deployment as a simple question posed by the power-that-is:
"How many divisions does Pelosi have?"

If an individual, through either his own volition or events over which he had no control, found himself taking up residence in a country undefined by flags or physical borders, he could be assured of one immediate and abiding consequence: He was on his own, and solitude and loneliness would probably be his companions unto the grave.

You can't blame the innocent, they are always guiltless. All you can do is control them or eliminate them. Innocence is a kind of insanity.
