I conducted a rather exhaustive study of this case over a three-year period beginning the day after the crash. I was assisted by George Michael Evica, who helped direct my inquiries and "edit" my work-in-progress conclusions. Throughout I applied what later would be termed "deep political" analyses.
From security stripping, through the use of doppelgangers, to the patsying of False Sponsors in a classic Sponsor/Facilitator/Mechanic model, the conspiracy that killed Diana is self-evident.
Ultimately I produced a film treatment. Tear the Lace was shared with a very small audience, including Mary Ferrell. Not disposed to gratuitous compliments, Mary's reactions to my work were both heartening and challenging.
"This must be published," she told George Michael and me. And then she added, "Think about writing it for the stage."
I'm inspired to give it a second look today.

If an individual, through either his own volition or events over which he had no control, found himself taking up residence in a country undefined by flags or physical borders, he could be assured of one immediate and abiding consequence: He was on his own, and solitude and loneliness would probably be his companions unto the grave.
-- James Lee Burke, Rain Gods
You can't blame the innocent, they are always guiltless. All you can do is control them or eliminate them. Innocence is a kind of insanity.
