The version I read is that she, Michelle Martin, has been approved to be released by a Belgian court after spending half of her 30 year prison term behind closed doors.
She was convicted of actively assisting her husband in killing at least two girls, letting them die from hunger.
Her plan was to go to a convent in France, but the french justice minister opposes this.
She is not yet free (as of today), but very likely will be soon.
