Jan speaks to one of my pet peeves (small furry rodents with sharp teeth).
As is the case on all websites, ours comes with finite bandwidth. There is no need whatsoever to replicate lengthy posts in their entirety when referencing component parts therein.
Either direct readers to the post(s) under consideration (by thread and post #), or extricate those passages of direct relevance to your commentary.
If nothing else, think of this suggested methodology as a courtesy to readers -- and as an effort to cull the peeve, an all too unendangered species.
