Will WikiLeaks unravel the American 'secret government'?

What I've read of the leaks so far, does very minimal damage to the US, presents nothing that couldn't be guessed at anyway and, more often than not, emphasizes the "caring world cop" position that Uncle would wish to project rather well.

Who cares if a member of the royals engaged in "inappropriate behaviour"? There are lots of prior examples of that anyway. Ditto embarrassments to current and former Crime Ministers. Who cares.

Others have noted the absence of anything Israeli in flavour. Yet anyway. How curious.

And yes, it's still too early to say for sure, but there's no more meat in it than you'd find in a bowl of veggie soup.

Others have asked and I also want to know --- are we all being played?

While I don't have a MAJOR problem with your analysis or other above who same something similar [and Yes, someone or someones are playing us....one way or another...and perhaps more than one way....]; I think while most of US HERE are aware of these sorts of things, this WILL come as a shock to the intelligent but naive non-Deep Politcally aware - and that may have value. Stay tuned. I sense the USG's worry is real...and that alone is worth the price of admission.
