Quick thoughts after finishing the Kindle edition. It is rather short, no footnotes, however the bibliography is sufficient for the quick pace. He is relying specifically on the documents with a questioned provenance bought at auction for linkage to the JFK material. Without the documents being reviewed further I am hesitant about any of the conclusions or speculations. The cottage industry of fake German documents and stories has only gotten stronger since '45 and more since the compromised version of the interagency work group closed up shop.

There were glaring omissions from Skorzeny's biography that made those portions more hagiographic than needed. The operations of KG-200 with proxy linkage to the Kammler material is within the text albeit never mentioned directly in regards to evacuation and post war planning.

I have my own sources on the Skorzeny-Kammler project. Sorry to hear there are not footnotes. I hope there will be in Albarelli's book on the same topic. The two started out being co-authors, but at some point had a parting of the ways, and it turned into two books. I have not yet read more than the preview available of the e-book version, but do know before this book that Skorzeny worked with and for CIA and Mil. Intel. [off the books]. He was used front and center in Operation Condor; they got him out of jail; he was just about the only prominent Nazi after the War who could march around openly in Europe [and elsewhere] without any fear of arrest or reprisal. His wife was daughter of the Reich's most prominent banker, and he was head of die spinne [the movement, and supply long after movement, of Nazis from Europe to S. America and elsewhere]. Skorzeny was even in contact with Kammler's wife long after Kammler had 'disappeared'...... that he was QJ/WIN I find fits like a glove. As to the provenance of the papers I welcome skepticism, but from what I've heard so far they are real. Yes, fake Hitler documents and other such have been known before - and quickly and easily shown to be fakes. Ganis I had never heard of before. I know Albarelli and find it very hard to imagine him being fooled on such an important topic. This will be his second book on the JFK assassination - but he has been a student of the subject deeply for a long time. In his last book he devoted a chapter to the strange but true story of Adele Edisen - one of the more amazing and hardly known stories of pre-knowledge of the assassination. I knew Adele very well - and that story is 100% true, even if no one else has written about it in a book. You will find her own telling of her story right here on this Forum, on which she participated until she became ill and died. I, myself, have most all of the NARA documents on Skorzeny - they alone tell a very strange tale of his connections with top level spooks and his get-outta-jail free cards. Skorzeny was entrusted after the War with the disposition of much of the Nazi gold and stolen wealth from Europe. So, he was independently wealthy and disbursed HUGE amounts of money to various Nazis, fascist groups, covert projects, the Perons [who's money was in their names - but mostly for use of Nazis in Argentina and other S. American countries]..etc. I could go on and on. Skorzeny was in Egypt at times helping Egypt build up its rocket program, along with a host of Nazi rocket scientists who were then there. Skorzeny strangely was one of the few persons of any kind who had friends in both the West and the Eastern bloc and could travel back and forth without any problems - and did! There is much more to the story of Skorzeny post-War than has been told in the 'history' books.....
