I don't mourn Clinton's loosing; however, I DO mourn Trump's win! Neither should have been allowed to run - more so Trump. He is not intellectually nor emotionally qualified for the job - this totally apart from his 'political' views. His political views are totally abhorrent with a very few exceptions [such as opposition to 'globalization trade agreements' and outsourcing of jobs to other countries]. Many of Clinton's political views are/were also abhorrent, but we now have someone who wants to make a police state, a stronger military state, to stop and expel immigrants when we are a nation of immigrants and none have a right to be there other than the Native Americans [who he likely will abuse as well]. He hates women, non-whites, non-Christians, non-Western persons. He has no manners nor skills in diplomacy. He is a barbarian who will have his finger on the nuclear trigger and the bully pulpit. Guns will proliferate, the police will be emboldened to execute more poor and non-whites without arrest or trial; the military will get more funding and I believe OK to do as they please; the intelligence agencies given free reign to spy on and arrest/render/torture/kill whomever they like in and outside of the country. The office of the Presidency and the entire government will be made to look even more than it currently does as a goon show - and that is saying a lot - as it looks much like one before Trump. The ultra-Right in the USA will grow in power and influence - they will make up his cabinet and appointees. He is a Chauncy Gardener / Ronald Reagan type who will soon get bored 'playing' President and allow others to take control and make the decisions which he will only sign. Blacks, Muslims and others are now, with good reason, in fear of their lives and livelihoods - but I think progressives will be or already are, as well. Under Clinton foreign policy would have been war, war, war as usual, but internally things would have been at least status quo. I don't think that Trump will avoid any wars and will turn the Nation into a battleground of spilled blood and misery for most. I doubt he will be able to nor even really try to help out those who voted for him in the hopes of getting back the 1950s in the USA vis-a-vis jobs. The 1950s were also a time of racial apartheid - and that and more is where we are headed. The brown shirts have staged a coup. I am very upset and I think some of you who are not American don't quite get the enormous negative effect this will have Worldwide. I am American, but live outside, but though I'm white will be very fearful to return to visit, as the thought police will know I don't agree with his views. I can only imagine how a Muslim American must feel or an African-American. Forget about the USA even signing up to international treaties on the environment, etc. I could even see him pulling the US out of the UN or asking the UN to leave NYC. He is a demagogic idiot bigot. Anyone backed by the KKK and their ilk is anathema. His great teacher by his own admission was Roy Cohn, lawyer to the Mob and Joseph McCarthy pal. F**k! We are in deep shit and HUAC will be back in short order.
