How much was it in total that Nixon paid out? Something like a little over three hundred thousand, not nearly enough to invade Cuba, so why not keep it right? Could the profit made off drugs been enough to invade Cuba? Not when Torriente went to the FBI and informed them that CU was involved in the illegal sale of drugs that it's profit was better spent on building up Brickell Ave. and South Beach.
