Here's something for you to imagine. Imagine had the anti-Castro Cubans in Miami found out what Watergate was truly about, then learned that those involved in Watergate was spending the money on their own personal reasons and not on freeing Cuba, what do you suppose that would have done to the burglars? You're right, they would have all been dead long ago, so, they make up this cockeyed story that they were looking for evidence that Fidel Castro was supporting the Democratic party, after that story, everyone had a story, it didn't matter anymore, they were off the hook and not accountable for where the funds went.
Yes, had the anti-Castro community found out what Watergate was truly about, and the burglars didn't account for funds that were coming from the White House, and not using those funds for infiltration's, Frank, Hunt and everyone else would have been killed long ago. Now, a few are in their 90's, who cares?
