It's almost always overlooked in the whole "Democrats and Republicans are the same" meme is that the base of the Democratic Party is anti-Oligarchy.
The base of the GOP is not anti-Oligarchy.
The corporate wing of the Democrats represent the Globalist Oligarchy which seeks to make the world safe for bankers.
While the corporate wing of the Republican Party is also owned by the Globalists, the base of the Republican Party owes it's allegiance largely to the Dominionist Oligarchy -- rich Christianists who want to make the world safe for a return of their Messiah, Jesus Christ.
With a Democrat in the White House, enough pressure from the base can on occasion produce needed changes.
Gay rights and internet neutrality are two prime examples of the Democratic base forcing change from below.
With a Republican in the White House there is no chance for society to advance -- the Oligarchists control everything.
When Obama negotiated with Putin for the removal of chemical weapons from Syria and nuke material from Iran, he crippled the War Party ("Democrat" and "Republican" both) plan for the US to fight both sides of a Sunni-Shia civil war.
The Bernie Sanders revolution must continue and try to force any Democratic President to follow-through.
Just because Hillary Clinton is a "made man" in the Globalist Oligarchy doesn't mean we have to settle for a mentally disturbed narcissist who is wholly owned by Dominionist racists.
