I first became seriously interested in the JFK assassination after hearing Mr. Lane speak at my college in the mid seventies. His passing is a loss but his seminal work will live on.
The government and the media are still unable to answer the serious questions Mr. Lane raised about the substance and conduct of the investigation into the murder of President Kennedy in the period immediately following the release of the Warren Commission report. That's probably why they found it convenient to ignore him.
