Of all the X Files shows the one that stands as the most telling, for me, was the one that predicted 9/11 - and in considerable detail.

This is why I put this episode up. It unleashes the entire plot that was only hinted at throughout the old series: depopulation by an elite cabal who are saved by alien gene intervention.

I referenced this episode for the very reason you mention -- the all too prescient prediction of 9/11.
