In trying to verify parts of this story, it seems that Kubrick's wife admitted to this [and that she knew] about a year ago - but no one paid that much attention. NASA and the USG will be quick to make this into a 'fake' and 'conspiracy theory' without merit..on that you can bank with JPMorgan Chase.
