"Scare tactic" campaign aims to bring US Jews to Israel

Keller, of Gush Shalom, said few Jews in the United States or Europe, the main target of the campaign, needed to come to Israel for material reasons. "They come from ideological motives, and many of them are right-wing nationalists who can be encouraged to settle in the West Bank."

So they wan't North American and European Jews to come over to the West Bank and become settlers. The fact that the rest of the world considers the settlers to be festering assholes is conspicuously ignored.

I don't think the campaign will work. Israel hasn't exactly covered itself in glory lately--and their rampant paranoia is becoming an embarrassment, even to their dwindling coterie of 'friends'.
