MH 370: Missing Malaysian Airliner
So, then, can the power to the left AC bus be cut off from the E/E bay (which actually sounds like it might be accessible to a knowledgeable hijacker) without assistance inside the cockpit? If so, you could theorize that a hijacker might shut off the power to disable the cockpit door lock.

If not, you'd have to assume that they had help from the cockpit, or that disabling/rebooting the satcom system was the extent of the needed personal intervention onboard the plane. Am I correct in guessing that the satcom data which showed the gradually retreating distance from the satellite (thus generating those north and south arcs we saw on the news) came after the reboot?

And did the satcom system ever generate any pings that were different from all the rest after the reboot,which might indicate a period of time in which the satcom system was working properly after the reboot?
