Right out of John Le Carre' et al. Very odd indeed. The story, however, doesn't make complete sense [of course we see the least of the information [or disinformation]. If some group was to kidnap him for his expertise, then why would either A] another group have him and sell him to CIA, or 2] the kidnapping group sell him to the CIA. Something is fishy an the map should show locations in USA and UK.....nothing fits any scenario I can think of....
