Assuming that this whole affair is a false flag event - and this remains uncertain imo, but has that flavour to it - then I suspect that there were a number of converging reasons for it to happen. Would the Jeffrey Epstein sex ring form part of that rationale? Possibly. Would the French government concern about imposing more US contrived/forced sanctions against Russia be something that needed punishing? Possibly. And while it is not proven that the Mossad may be behind this, and also Epstein's activities? - I don't write these off as being impossible. It's just too early days yet for reaching lasting conclusions.
Well some of us have noted this and wont be forgetting any time soon.

Exactly what I thought too. Eerily so.
The French Police [Gendarmerie] have three flavors - local, national, and special forces - and when not in Ninja suits or plainclothes do wear clothes with large back patches similar to US FBI and other such agencies. I don't think any US intel people are there in any great number - and certainly not in uniform. French special special forces [several flavors] are also present around these incidents, but usually don't wear such labeled uniforms...but some leaders and ancillary persons in their ranks do on occasion. They all have the large back patch, stating what service they are with.
As to who is REALLY behind this, I think it is too early to tell.....a 'good' false-flag operation leads the primary actors to not even know who is behind it.... time will tell.... all options are IMO open.

Things change by the minutes. The man holding hostages in East Paris [five hostages or so], says he will start killing his hostages IF police move in on or hurt the Kouaci brothers. The French authorities have a very 'interesting' situation on their hands!...and there are thoughts by more than I that before this is over there may well be more than two active hostage situations in play.

Yep - say 5mins in the wrong office, 10mins in the right office, so perhaps 15mins for the police to arrive, a shoot-out or two taking more time, then the U-turn they've done. I think the police have pretty sensibly backed-off or at least paused once the situation's become more clear - automatic gunfire/multiple shooters; then the shooters have pretty casually legged-it. Still seems odd that (as I take it) they've had extra footware, which I'd assume is towards a plan of escape, that they were so casual, and then there's obviously been no plan of escape as they didn't even have any food or fuel with them.

Ther identification word on the back of the jacket was shorter, and the word "FBI" would, I think, have fitted that. Possibly "police" as well, but not Gendarmerie, although it was a telephoto lens shot and not clear. FBI are issued with khaki coloured 5-11 tactical pants, so I think it could still be them (by no means certain though) - and, of course, FBI agents are stationed in almost all countries anyway, so their presence at a hostage situation would not be so strange, I think.

Explosions of some type and shooting in Dammartin-en-Goele now after special forces were seen on the roof of the warehouse. Helicopters are also starting their engines to circle over the building....so things are heating up now! Don't know about the brothers, but have a bad feeling that the hostage is no longer alive...now what will happen at the Kosher restaurant hostage taking?!....
