Michael Ruppert, RIP. - Peter Lemkin - 27-04-2014

I beg to differ. I've listened to the last show several times. It is NOT IMHO the voice or show of someone who a few [very few] hours later is going to kill themselves. Yes, he is in despair about the state of the US and the World - but that was not new - and he had an outlet for his despair and presented hopeful paths, speakers and inciteful analysis on many levels. I still find it hard to believe he'd be able to keep his composure on that show; speak about the things he did; and say he'd 'see' everyone next week...and then go home and within an hour or two shoot himself in the head. To me is doesn't make sense. Someone planning that would be so much in distress they'd either NOT do the show - or make the show a very special one that would contain their last messages within it. Anyone who can see what is going on and who has been through the ringer for telling truth to power suffers some level of distress. Anyway, the memorial should be interesting....there is a link to it on the Global Research article. It has been a bad month for loosing important researchers.

Having just learned that apparently MR left many suicide notes online to friends and in his hand several physical notes also....It might just be so.....[suicide]...still it seems incongruous to the last show and where he seemed to be headed with it [perhaps his own life was other - certainly was if he did in fact commit suicide], as suicide was not heading in a hopeful path he was teaching others to follow.

It reminds me of Abbie Hoffman.

That was a really nice tribute to Michael and it is telling that we only get to see such a thing on Russia Today network as CNN NBC ABC aren't screening any thing like it.

Michael Ruppert, RIP. - David Guyatt - 09-05-2014

That was a really heartfelt tribute to Mike.

A beautiful tribute and I remain tremendously impressed with Abby Martin, who herself puts up with a tremendous amount of shit from both internet critics and the mainstream press, yet carries on regardless - something I think Ruppert himself would have been proud to see.

They were fairly close friends - which says something about Martin.
No, you'll not see anything about Ruppert's death on the MSM in the USA - and never, ever something like Martin's tribute!

The great follow through on Ruppert's exposing of CIA coke smuggling was really impressive and exemplary of the credibility of American democracy.
