Ivans was innocent and the FBI knew/knows it - but their official position still is that this patsy who they apparently drove to suicide was responsible. The FBI covers up and creates more crime than it solves by a long shot. J. Edgar would be proud his model is still followed. They are not crime solvers or investigators as much as a national political police agency.
