Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Jim DiEugenio - 16-09-2012 Switching ground again Albert? It does answer your question, but you wish to ignore it. Your question was, well why hasn't this Mitchell guy been found? Its common in other cases in the JFK community. This ignores the fact that finding a guy with this low of a profile is not like finding say the late Jim Humes, or Perry Russo. The other point, which you also ignore like the plague is this: Why didn't Janney find him? It was his responsibility to do so since its his book. And he clearly had the resources to do that. He did not. And that's bad. Therefore, people not involved with the book, and not making any benefit from it, are now asked to find someone with a generic name almost as common as Joe Smith. Well, when people then do find someone who appears a distinct possibility, that is not enough for Horne. We are now supposed to not just locate someone, but actually confirm its him. Which, as for reasons stated above, is not easy. And if you do not understand why its not, then that is your failing, not mine. You obviously don't do much of this type of work. But certain people are trying to nail down what Janney should have done on his own. Mitchell remains a mystery? Only if one believes in the following: 1.) The CIA could not find a covert operator who was African American in its entire worldwide operations. 2.) The CIA then ordered clothes that morning to match Crump's, who was the last minute fall guy. And, on sight, they matched. 3.) Because the CIA could not find a black man, Mitchell then applied a skin pigmentation chemical that altered his features in a matter of moments. 4.) He then dragged Meyer's body about 20 feet in order for Wiggins to see what was then a black man. 5.) And, in a nutshell, this is now the CIA framed Crump. (In addition to the other bystanders being spotters of course.) The only mystery about this is 1.) How Janney could ever write such stuff, and 2.) How anyone with a half a brain could even read it without going into shock as to what has happened to this community. Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Albert Doyle - 17-09-2012 No offense but I think you are switching the point from the current need to interrogate Mitchell to an argument over Janney's poor scholarship and methodology. You've won the contest over Janney's poor research and use of uncredible sources. However, as even Charles pointed out, that doesn't necessarily prove Mary Meyer wasn't covertly assassinated. And even if she was murdered by Crump for totally unrelated reasons, it doesn't preclude all this Janney theory business being used for deep political disinformation purposes. That's the trouble with a room full of mirrors is that it is hard to create just one straight image guided by straight logic. Too many words vs a simple solution Mr D. Simply knock on this Mr Mitchell's door and ask him. Otherwise Tom Scully is just an overly informational bringer of wrong information. I think you don't understand that we can throw out all that crap Janney offers about Mitchell's possible role and still have a legitimate covert assassination remaining. Just not the way Janney described it. In the end it is still highly suspicious for Mitchell to remain quiet with all that has been said about him in public. I agree with Horne on this because it's obvious and has nothing to do with Janney's scholarship. Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Jim DiEugenio - 17-09-2012 You can't talk to someone unless you have confirmed you have found him. That stage is in process. Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Seamus Coogan - 17-09-2012 Jim I totally agree with you. One of the dumbest, most cockeyed and frustrating things around the JFK case, is when people make bald ass claims. Then they expect you to chase them around disproving or approving them. Sorry, I've learned not to play that freaking game. If you can't front up with adequate and reasonable evidence first time around, then I say kindly sod off and I mean it sincerely. Janney has to prove his case for Mitchell, he has to find him and ask the questions. He also needs to have verified witnesses to this and a recording. Why? Because Janney is so full of bull I wouldn't believe a single word he says about Mitchell without serious documentation. Thus Al why not go pester Janney for more information on Mitchell? That's freaking well not Jim's job. Better yet find him yourself. That Janney couldn't or didn't try is his failing by any stretch. It really looks like Bob Morrows and Jim Fetzer's new savior has arrived. While he's trying to keep an open mind to all conspiracies (yeah you know the type) he is in fact endorsing them all. It's very scary silly stuff, well not really. With the 50th on the horizon we knew all manner of kooks were emerging on the horizon. Fetzers going to have a grand time being vindicated with this crap :cheer::fullofit: Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Albert Doyle - 19-09-2012 Seamus Coogan Wrote:Thus Al why not go pester Janney for more information on Mitchell? That's freaking well not Jim's job. Better yet find him yourself. That Janney couldn't or didn't try is his failing by any stretch. Because the wise researcher will realize this issue exists outside and independent of Janney. Man does not live by destruction of Janney alone. I think someone else wrote that just because some nutty conspiracy theories exist in the Kennedy case doesn't mean Kennedy wasn't killed by conspiracy. Mary's Mosaic: Entering Peter Janney's World of Fantasy - Jim DiEugenio - 22-09-2012 But ALbert, it was Damore and Janney who made the claim that Mitchell disappeared into the ozone, and that he also lived at a CIA safehouse. They said they could not track him down after his appearance at the trial. But what this shows is that either they were too trusting of their CIA sources, and/or they did not do very much work trying to track him down. Let us put it this way: Janney comes from a well off family which has ties to the Rockefellers. Now, if with all those resources, he could not find out that there appears to be a guy who does fit the Mitchell profile, then the obvious question is: Why could Scully do that just using Google, yet Janney and Damore could not do that in 25 years with much more time and money? I personally will not look the other way on this point. It is a very salient issue which tells us much about the agenda these two had in the making of this book. If they could not find this personage who resembles Mitchell, then either they 1.) They did not try very hard, or 2.) They did not try at all, and trusted some CIA sources who appear to have led them down into a cul de sac. This is a serious criticism. Just as serious as the dubious "Vivian" that it appears Dovey Roundtree and Crump ahem, doodled up in order to manufacture an alibi for the defendant. I really look askance at this kind of shoddy work in this day and age. |
