The US government's bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered. Indeed, the new story put out on Tuesday by White House press secretary Jay Carney bears little resemblance to the original Sunday evening story. The fierce firefight did not occur. Osama bin Laden did not hide behind a woman. Indeed, bin Laden, Carney said, "was not armed."
The firefight story was instantly suspicious as not a single SEAL got a scratch, despite being up against al Qaeda, described by former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld as the most dangerous, best-trained, vicious killers on the face of the earth."

These are some comments from earlier in the thread about those posed photos of US government head honchoes intently watching the Bin Laden execution via SEALCAM.

Only to add that CIA director stated that for the actual 25 minutes the 'action' took place there was NO LIVE feed to the White House......makes you wonder.....Hey Obama is the Wizard of Oz.....Toto's gonna find you out! Anyway one constructs or deconstructs this farce it is just that - a GRAND FARCE! I wonder WHAT they WERE watching, as apparently [but who to believe!?!] the Intelligence Community and/or the Military cut the video and audio during the real deal...if there even was a real deal...too many wheels of lies within wheels of lies...... Any old which way the Emperor and the Empire have NO CLOTHES!

My original use of the term "kabuki dance" or "kabuki theater" had to do, not with any notion that they were puppets being manipulated, but with the fact that the speech and gestures of the actors were greatly exaggerated, the halls having been large, and there having been no such things as microphones and amplification in the days when it developed. Obama didn't just announce the death of bin laden, he made a production out of it worthy of an ancient Japanese play and just as mythical.

What interests me is that someone, despite the obvious intent to keep the supposed video secret for, what, 75 years? decided to spill the beans. Could this have something to do with the shakeup at the Pentagram and the CIA? Is there an active faction operating in a manner analogous to the KGB during the final months of the USSR, when it became apparent to them from the events at Chernobyl, that the Soviet Union could not survive in its then current state?

I am reminded of Marina Oswald "verifying" that she took the obviously phony photos of Lee Oswald carrying the supposed murder rifle.
Basically, you stick a gun to somebody's head, either literally or figuratively, and ask them if they are going to cooperate or not.
