I agree with you assessment. I agree that many Oswald photos appear strange and I really do not care for any of the possible tramp IDs - Sturgis, Hunt, Holt, Gedney etc. I really don't think it is any of those people at this point.
Here is an interesting image of Beverly Oliver from James Richards' vast image collection. I find the man on the far right very interesting. He went by the name Emmit Anderson but this of course was an alias.
I believe the Tramps are nothing more than a sideshow but finding this man's true identity may prove fruitful.

Regarding James Arthur Lewis, he did his best work as part of a trio of operatives that included Richard Whatley and Bobby Willis. David Morales handled these men with great success in many anti-Castro operations.

Regarding the "Emmit Anderson" image -- It may be attributable to non-sinister processes resulting in the photo's decay (multiple generations, age), but this figure's hairline appears to be altered. Herein he offers a very JFK-esque portrait.
And what hapend to Ms. Oliver's face?
And speaking of James Richards: Would that his collections and his presence were gracing these cyber pages.

Thanks for the great photos. I seem to remember that Larry Hancock also wrote a while back that there was another set of "tramps" that day that were never photographed or ID'd.
More stuff to keep everyone running in circles it appears. I still think the tramps are nothing more than a confusing meaningless spectacle.

The provenance of this photo is of great interest to me. Does a first generation print exist? If so, is it available? Who is the earliest known JFK researcher to possess it?
Repeated scrutiny reinforces my sense that "Anderson's" hairline has been crudely extended over the forehead and along his left vertical border. If such is the case, it may have been done to disguise the figure's similarity to the tall tramp.
Or merely to misdirect the likes of us ...
