Being a preppy educated person, I have a strong and long developed love of classical music. One example being HERE.

I knew Alice, and I've met her son, Ravi.
In one of my lives I'm a jazz critic, commentator, educator, and festival and concert promoter. In lieu of financial success I've collected 10,000-plus jazz LPs and 3,000 CDs -- all the real deal, all killer - no filler.
This includes everything John recorded -- legit and bootlegs.
And this doesn't count videos.
So who do you all want to talk about?

Charles what an unbelievable collection of jazz you have.Over the years I've collected about 1,800 LPs,and about 700 CDs.I have a wide range of musical tastes,and that shows in the varity of my collection.
I had the great fortune to see Alice play at a club in San Francisco back in the 70s I believe.I have her last CD to which Ravi plays on.Great CD,but she doesn't play her Harp,dern it.I heard she passed away recently.
aint: I must say I have a special affinity to the bands that arose in the San Francisco area back in the psychedelic days.This is where I grew up.It flowered all around me.Here is a taste for those that aren't familiar with THE REAL THING.
