Allen Dulles' "Indonesian Strategy" and the Assassination of JFK - R.K. Locke - 14-06-2016

Blaming Dulles for the assassination is like blaming the consigliere for a Mafia hit.

This book looks very interesting indeed.

Before there could be an uprising growth in democracy for all countries worldwide, there would need to be a revolt against all communist countries worldwide.

Scott, there were relatively few communist countries in 1961-63. Most of the Third World was still struggling to overcome the effects of decades or centuries of being ruled over by European empires.

How about what he says about Truman and the Congo and Dag Hammarksjold?

Truman knew he had been murdered and tried to give the MSM a hint. They would not take it.

Just like he did with JFK.

Congo never gets the emphasis it should when we talk about the Kennedy case. But three progressive leaders were murdered while it was in conflagration: Lumumba, Hammarskjold, Kennedy.

And when it was over, LBJ and the CIA turned it into a Cold War battle. With Mobutu taking over and the CIA killing the last of Lumumba's
followers from the air. I talked to a CIA pilot who heard about it. He said it was carried out right from the American Embassy, and there must have been scores of Cubans flying those planes.

BTW, I also heard from a guy at Democratic Underground who's dad worked for Soapy Williams, the African point man for Kennedy, he said JFK was really upset when he got the news of Lumumba's death. He was beside himself. IMO, this is what started the Dulles vs Kennedy friction.

My understanding of Scott's viewpoint is that he is very sympathetic to the old Cold Warrior mindset -- you're either with us or against us. The so-called third world countries were basically socialist and needed to be treated as such. JFK was standing in the way of progress and even helping the other side. It's just as well some Cuban patriots rubbed him out. Sad, but necessary. Right Scott?

Hi Tracy, that may be true if we were speaking of just the Soviet bloc, and, I have this funny thing bugging me, not sure what it is, but, a lot of folks blame Vietnam for Kennedy's assassination, while others blame the Bay of Pigs. So, communism may not have been as widespread as democracy, but then again, there weren't other countries really worth fighting for except Cuba. While the United States squandered billions in Vietnam, we also made billions in Cuba.

Now, it's not about communism or democracy, but rather, over oil.

It was never about democracy then any more than it is about 'humanitarianism' now. And there were billions of people living in communist countries in 1961-63. East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania & the Soviet Union, China, Mongolia, North Korea, North Vietnam, India had strong ties with the Soviet Union and several states ruled by communist parties, Egypt, South Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Cuba.

Albert Doyle Wrote:Now place the same template over to Libya and Syria and consider that those governments are also being removed by native tribes people.

::headexplode:: ::face.palm:: Albert, the Free Syrian Army is not free Syrian or an army. It is a bunch of paid foreign mercenaries doing proxy work of western imperialism. Same for Libya.

I never said they weren't. We are just sold that these are native populations rising up against oppressive governments when it is really just a pro-Israel game plan being illegally carried out by the US and Europe. Perhaps I didn't make my sarcasm over the Congo CIA memo clear enough. Same methods, same players.

Yes, some one needs to invent a sarcasm font. It will be very handy on the net.
