That Hitler escaped makes perfect sense to me. Hugh Thomas’s excellent and penetrating book “SS1- The Unlikely Death of Heinrich Himmler”, presents powerful evidence that Himmer also escaped. Thomas argues that Bormann also escaped. That’s the ruling troika.

But these facts, if facts they are, raise numerous questions in my mind, because a thread of logic suggests that this directly link to other geopolitical subjects. For example, did President Roosevelt die of natural causes or from poisoning as claimed by Stalin (who also believed Hitler had survived btw)? This, I think, is a valid question because my sense of this is that Roosevelt would never have willingly permitted Hitler to escape punishment for the atrocities he perpetrated.

If Hitler truly did escape, then it was almost certainly with the knowledge and agreement of powerful elements inside the US (and probably?) Britain. Was a deal cut whereby Hitler was allowed to escape scott free in exchange for turning over to the US advanced Nazi weapons technology for the West to wage war against the Soviet Union, and therefore, to solidify its global commercial ambitions (and while that cold war was waged to gradually undermine the architecture of western democratic government - beginning at home)?

Might Roosevelt have been assassinated so that Truman could take power and authorize Hitler’s escape and hence the cold war -- much the same as Kennedy was assassinated so that LBJ could authorize the Vietnam war? The timing of Roosevelt’s death - 12th April 1945 - is also telling, I think (assuming I’m not completely daft and assembling a house of cards...), as it took place just over a month before the official end of the war (7th May 1945 in Europe), and just a few days before Hitler’s birthday (20th April) and a month before Hitler’s apparent suicide (30th April 1945). Roosevelt was three months into his 4th term as President when he succumbed. These days that timing alone would be sufficient to have a rash of eyebrows being raised and suspicions muttered.

I’ve never really known what to make of Truman, except that he clearly favoured a cold war with the nuking of Japan. He was the 33rd President of the US and, yes, a Freemason (both York and Scottish Rite). Although I can’t find it affirmed after a quick trawl of the internet, I think it most likely that he was a 33rd degree Mason (being the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri, he almost certainly had to be). Besides that, Masons enjoy the sort of symbolism where his degree precisely matched his numerical place on the presidential roster. LBJ was likewise a Freemason. As was Gerald Ford. Put a safe pair of hands on the tiller in times of instability would be my guess.

This scenario also fits, quite nicely, with the known story of Nazi submarine U 234, or rather, the unofficial story about it as related by an American author (who’s name I now forget) that U-234 contained essential uranium supplies for the US atomic bomb programme and was the result of highly secret US-Nazi negotiations to allow Bormann to escape Allied justice. Perhaps the conspiracy went even deeper than the author concluded?

I also think it likely that the famed “Operation High Jump fits” into this picture rather neatly - not forgetting SS General Hans Kammler and his Bell technology (Btw, Kammler now has a Wiki page -- which is more than he had 12-18 months ago).

Note the large, well-defined black rectangles next to clear Antarctic water in lake-like form. Zoom in and note the red running lights along their east sides.

Zoom out and note the straight lines linking them, and the straight line from the large rectangle heading east toward a near-perfect square anomaly in the icecap.

Are these "structures" artifacts generated by computer mapping? Artwork offered as part of a disinformation campaign? Part of some sort of base?

Sometime between my initial visit to the location and today, the buildings -- that's what they are -- have been identified as Sanae IV, a South African research station.

It is described thusly on the Geocaching website:

South Africa's SANAE-IV base is located on the top of the Vesleskarvet (Norwegian for "little barren mountain") nunatak in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. This outcrop of rock is about 200km from the edge of the ice shelf.

South Africa has had a permanent presence in Antarctica since 1959 when it took over the Norwegian base. This became SANAE-I. It was followed by SANAE-II and SANAE-III, all of which were constructed on the ice shelf. The latter was decommisioned during the summer of 1994, at which time it was buried deep beneath the snow.

The vista from the SANAE-IV base consists of snow and ice stretching to the distant horizon, regularly penetrated by mountain peaks. The base itself consists of three linked blocks, each of which has two levels. The length of the base is 176m. The entire base stands on stilts 4m above the rocky surface.
